Our pub bears the name of one of Britain’s great canal shipping businesses. Fellows, Morton & Clayton were famed as coal carriers and the pub was once the Nottingham office of this enterprise, with most of the loading and unloading of barges happening in the building next door – now The Canalhouse Bar & Restaurant.

The Coal Shed to the rear of Fellows is now an impressive events space perfect for hosting events of up to 100 people, with seating for around 60 across the ground and mezzanine floors.

Boasting its own private bar and with access onto our lovely canalside terrace, The Coal Shed is perfect for the celebrations, intimate weddings, or a corporate event with a bit more soul!

We have extensive group dining and buffet options available and are always happy to create something a bit more bespoke.
